A sketch I’ve been working on.
Cells roam around what starts as an orderly grid of spheres.
The cells swallow them up, at which point they roam around inside the cell according their gravitational attraction to each other.
If the orbit of a sphere becomes eccentric enough, it can be ejected from the cell.
After some time, the spheres become messy.

Some thoughts on implementing contextual menus on touch devices:

  • Instead of using the right click/secondary click gesture that is available on mouse pointing systems,
  • Use the device’s gyroscope to conditionally change the behavior of tapping on a target.
